Whoaaaa!! It’s such a well-written article, Rao!! I lovvvve it! And you’re right! Be it a name or the way we behave, why is it that only a woman has to change? I’m so proud of you for writing about one of the most important topics that has to be written about! Keep rocking, our Fauji’s Magpie!! 🙂
You have an Agatha Christie flair about you when you describe situations. So beautifully worded. You allow us to walk your walk through your narrative.
Thank you for sharing parts of your life with us – allowing us to participate in what it means to be a Fauji and his/her spouse.
Lovely Preethi.:)
I was wondering why is this name hard to keep?
Humanism is a better word for sure 😊
Even I didn’t change my surname after marriage..:)
Very well explained by our NIGHTINGALE….. Applause for the fauji for the way he explained to his parents
Surprising that someone found the name Preethi not suitable for calling🤔🤔 Ridiculous……
Nevertheless Name is something given by parents and it is the individual’s decision to live with it or to change be it a male or female…
A very well written article. And I think the situation was handled very well. God bless you both.
Very nice piece Preethi!
I totally agree with your views, being ruled by women managers for most of my career.
As you rightly said, they don’t help their women reportees, instead, create more pressure and induce imposter syndrome in them.
Nicely penned. Empathy, after removing ur shoes, is certainly very important. Also important to fight this is to ‘Be in your Happy Space’, space for which the happiness parameters are your own setting and not influenced by any one else. Good read
Nicely articulated Preethi, quite insightful. Empathy and acceptance can make a big impact😊
Awesome Thoughts, really appreciate your phrases on this article. Nowadays most of the loved ones started to support the partner. As you said, the same gender women’s needs to be empathetic by each other…

Dear Gods above!!! This was like a mystery thriller! Yes, we take so much for granted! Each service has its own differently aweful/awe-inspiring set of challenges, and what our faujis go through is sometimes unimaginable! You have pen pictured it beautifully! Kudos to you, Preethi!
Made me emotional literally!!! Felt like watching a beautiful love story and I wanted more and more to read . Well written Preethi ❤️
Dear Preethi, Love the idea of ‘Act’. I totally agree that we as women need to make a decision and effect change. Love your writing. Looking forward to more…
